After shaking off the UFC “jitters”,
John Olav Einemo is ready to get back to his winning ways. John took an extended leave from the fight game and returned at UFC 131 and suffered a TKO loss to
Dave Herman. Einemo, a jiu-jitsu ace, will look to take his next opponent down and submit him. John’s next opponent,
Mike Russow, has been on a tear, going 3-0 in the UFC, and is a tough opponent for anyone. Einemo, at 6’6” will have the height and reach advantage and will need to utilize all his skills against a tough opponent. Both fighters have great submissions, so this fight could turn out to be a slug fest. John Olav ‘The Viking’ Einemo, a former ADCC champion, has a slight edge in submissions, but Russow is an accomplished wrestler and has a great top game. Einemo will have to set the pace early and use striking to keep the wrestler off balanced.
Hayabusa is proud to partner with John Olav ‘The Viking’ Einemo again and wishes him the best of luck in this pivotal bout.
Charles ‘do Bronx’ Oliveira was one of the brightest prospects in the UFC’s lightweight division. Oliveira has had a rough couple of fights, going 0-2 1NC, and is looking to get back on the winning path. At the young age of 22, Charles is one of the youngest fighters in the UFC and has used the recent losing streak to rework his game and regain his mental focus. Each loss brings perspective and ‘do Bronx’ is poised to get back on track to start to work his way back up the ladder. With this stronger mental focus comes a change in weight class as well. Oliveira is heading down to 145lbs, a more suitable weight class, and is set to face off against
Eric ‘Little Lee’ Wisely. A native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Charles ‘do Bronx’ Oliveira now trains out of Houston Texas. Hayabusa is excited to partner with Charles as he prepares for the challenge ahead and wishes him success in the featherweight division.
